Schizophrenic Trees?

Schizophrenia?
Art of listening to trees.
Simple understanding.

A forest tree speaks
In a language clear to me,
Nothing like English.

Be still! Dig your roots
Into the Earth. Feel the wind
Moving your branches.

Feel the sun on your
Crown. Drink water, eat dirt, breathe
Carbon dioxide.

Listen! Listen! Child,
You animals move too fast.
Stillness has rewards.

Feel my wooden heart.
Feel the pulse of my xylem
And phloem, touch me.

Understand, then, why,
We plants chose to root, here, now.
All life in one place.
