Iris' Sparkly Purple Sweater
This sweater was knit from Plymouth Fantasy Naturale with a strand of
Paris Nights for the sparkle. It's a knit-from-the-top-down sweater
with a scoop neck and bust darts and three-quarter sleeves. The sleeves
and bottom are finished with seed stitch and the top is finished with a
crocheted shell.
The knitting of this sweater went very fast. You can't see in the picture,
but it has a gently curved hem to flatter Iris' ample figure.
With the greens and the blues in the Paris Nights, this sweater goes with
almost everything Iris owns. She wears it constantly: with skirts, over
dresses, over leggings.
Iris didn't let me try this on her often during the knitting. The shoulders
bag a bit, but other than that it fits her quite well.
